Welcome to Barney Beard Golf!

Hello! I'm Barney Beard, USGTF Master Teaching Professional. I have been a student of the game of golf since my childhood. Golf is my passion. From the first time I picked up a golf club in 1964 there isn't anything I had rather do, or any place I had rather be than on the golf course. I love the sights, smells, sounds of golf. I love the feel of a well struck 7 iron as I watch the ball fly to the middle of the green.  There's nothing else like it is there?

My mission as a golf instructor is to fuel your passion to play better golf.  I want you to have more fun as you learn to turn your 5's into 4's and your 4's into 3's.

Teaching golf is one of life's greatest joys for me. I truly believe you can play better golf. Regardless if you are a beginner who has yet to be on a golf course or a seasoned golfer you can do this!  You can play better golf!  I believe the glass is 1/2 full!!

I teach at Lady Lake Driving range.  It is located at 230 Rolling Acres Road next to the Villages woodworking shop.  It is golf cart accessible from the Villages!  I teach private lessons and couples are welcome to share the time!  You may purchase 1 lesson or you may purchase the more economical packages of 3, 6 or 10 lessons.  You can book your lesson through email barneybeardgolf@yahoo.com or phone 638-4180.
