Barney Beard Golf
​WELCOME!
I'm Barney Beard a USGTF Master Teaching Professional. Golf is my passion. I have been a student of the game of golf since childhood. From the first time I picked up a golf club in 1964 there isn't anything I had rather do or any place I had rather be than on the golf course. I love the sights, smells and sounds of golf. I love the feel of a well struck 7 iron as I watch the ball fly to the middle of the green and settle by the pin. There's nothing else like it is there?
I believe there is no "one size fits all" in golf instruction. Each student is an individual. I take each student from where they are and help them become better. I do my best to avoid swing changes. I work in the beginning around the edges to help the student become the best they can be with the skills they have!
I teach at Lady Lake Driving range on Rolling Acres Road located between the Villages woodworking shop and the soccer fields. It is golf cart accessible from the Villages. I teach private lessons only. However couples are welcome to share the time! Your first lesson with me, Barney Beard, is always complimentary. All lessons are by appointment only.
